Ten Months Old

Cameron is Ten Months Old!
December 13, 2010
Weight: 16 pounds
Length: 28 inches
Head: 45 centimeters

This past month has really flown by. We are excited to spend our first Christmas with Cameron. It's going to be so much fun! If you look closely, you can see Cameron's teeth in this picture. Cute, cute, cute!

Getting a 10 month old to sit still while you weigh and measure her is pretty impossible, so I have no idea if this months measurements are correct. If they are, Cameron is in the 3.6th percentile for weight, 48th percentile for length and 69th percentile for head circumference.

So Cameron, what are you up to at ten months old?
  • You are eating solid foods three times a day now—breakfast, lunch and dinner. You are all about the finger foods and usually refuse to eat anything pureed.
  • You have officially made the transition to crawling on all fours, the army crawl is pretty much history.
  • You love to turn the pages of books.
  • You've mastered crawling up the stairs and can make it up a couple flights without any problems.
  • You like to prop your foot up when you're nursing, it's very cute.
  • You've learned to open cabinets.
  • You really hate it when we have to cut your nails. We usually have to battle you to get both hands done.
  • You're growing! You are now wearing your 9 month clothes.
  • You are a big talker. People are always commenting on how you're having a complete conversation in your own language.
  • You've started making this really funny Popeye expression.
  • You love to point at things.
  • You have another couple of plane rides under your belt. You went to Texas to celebrate Thanksgiving at Uncle Nick, Aunt Annie and Cole's house.
  • You had a small virus this month that caused a fever for a few days and then a rash.
  • You've finally figured out how to use sippy cups.
  • You've started waking up a crying in the middle of the night every once and awhile. We've had to let you cry yourself back to sleep several times which is very hard for us to do.
  • You've kind of started signing. Every once in awhile you'll sign "all done" with your hands when you're finished eating.
  • You love to be held. When I'm working in the kitchen I often feel two little hands climbing up my leg because you are wanting to be picked up.
  • Your dad and I are falling in love with you more and more every single day. We love the moments that we get to spend with you.
