Sydney's Baptism

We had Sydney baptised this Sunday in our backyard. Father Gerry, the priest who married us and who baptised Cameron, was able to do the ceremony for us. It was a really nice way to start Sydney on her journey of faith. Our families and a few close friends joined us for the event. We were so happy to have them all there with us.

Sydney did great with the ceremony. The water didn't bother her a bit. She was very fascinated with Father Gerry's cross, you can see her clutching it in the pictures. Pretty cute.

Mike and Melissa are Sydney's Godparents.

These are the cookies I made in honor of Sydney's big day. (I won't tell you how late I stayed up making them last night. :-?)
