Seeman Time

The Seeman crew was in town last week, and we had a blast seeing them. All four of them (Nick, Annie, Cole and Finley) were supposed fly in on Friday afternoon so that they could surprise Clair at his birthday dinner. Unfortunately, a friend of Annie's passed away, so she and Finley came into town a little earlier so she could attend the funeral. Clair still had no idea Nick and Cole were coming though.

Even though it was for a not so good reason, we enjoyed having Annie and Finley around for a couple extra days. Wednesday night when they got in town, the girls and I headed over to have dinner with the fam. Ryan had a business dinner that night so he missed out on the fun. The weather was beautiful so we got to play outside for awhile.

I watched Finely on Thursday morning during the funeral. I was pretty proud of myself for handling all three girls without encountering any major disasters. It helped that Sydney and Finley traded off taking naps throughout the morning... and that Finley is a super good baby. HOWEVER, notice how I don't have any pictures documenting the occasion. That was a ball that never made it into the juggling act that day. :)

Friday night was the big birthday dinner at The Greenbriar. Clair was super surprised when Cole ran out to meet him at the front of the restaurant. So fun! We had a super yummy (and slightly crazy) dinner. Luckily we had a private room, so the craziness that comes with taking 4 little kiddos out to dinner didn't disturb anyone else and we all had a blast.

Papa let Cameron take home one of his birthday balloons on Friday night, and that thing did not leave her side the rest of Friday night and all day Saturday. We worked in the yard on Saturday, and wouldn't you know it, the balloon was out there with us all day too.

Saturday and Sunday nights we got to hang out with some of Ryan's extended family which was really fun. It's always great to see everyone. The weather was fairly decent, so we got to play outside which Cameron LOVES (and so do I)!

Here are a "few" pictures of Miss Sydney rolling around and practicing pushing up to her hands and knees on Monday. (Ok, so its more than a few, but I just think she's so darn cute I can help but post them all!)

We had such a fun week. Cameron was so sad when everyone had to go home on Tuesday. She sure does love her cousins!

SIDE NOTE: This morning Cameron was totally into reading a couple of the potty books that we have. In one of the books the little girl sits on the potty and reads books while she "waits". WELL Cameron wanted to sit on the potty and read books too. SA-WEET! Here's to hoping she's ready to potty train (again) soon!
