What a fun weekend! But before I get into it, I just want to say how blessed I am to be a mommy. I have two incredible little girls who make me smile every single day. I can't imagine what my life would be like without them. Thank you Jesus for entrusting me with their lives!
Ok, so now for the low down on the weekend. Saturday morning we met our friends Mike and Missy and their sweet little girl Madi at Pearl Street Mall. The morning was complete with coffee, Illegal Pete's breakfast burrito goodness, lots of playing, shopping and of course some balloon doggies from a street vendor. The weather was a little gloomy which was a bummer, but we still had a good time.
This is my artistic shot of the radishes at the farmers market, I'm taking orders if you'd like a copy to frame in your house. :)
This morning, I went for a run while Ryan stayed with the girls, then Ryan made breakfast (yummy!) and we went to church. After church we dropped the girls off at my mom and dad's house so they could take naps while Ryan and I did a little shopping (we are trying to find patio furniture).
After shopping (we failed to find a patio set) we went back to my mom and dad's house for dinner. My godparents were in town for their granddaughter's graduation from CSU, so they were able to join us too which was awesome!
Cameron has been totally into wearing dresses lately. Not just any kind of dress...LONG dresses (she is such a little girl!) Well there was a consignment sale this weekend so I hit it up with a mission: Find Cameron Dresses. I left with about 8 dresses/skirts that all seemed to meet her qualifications. Well I think I hit a home run with the things I picked out. She is in love! In fact she cried tonight when she had to take her dress off (life is tough when you're 2!) Here are a few of my favorites. Pretty cute, right? (the girl and the dresses :))
Happy Mother's Day to all you mommas out there! Especially to my mother and mother-in-law! I am so blessed to have two wonderful women in my life as an example of how to be a great mom. Love you both!
