Boulder County Fair

After all of these years living in Longmont, I've never been to the Boulder County Fair. It's kind of sad considering it's just right down the street at the fair grounds. Since Cameron is big enough to really appreciate it this year, I thought it'd be fun to go check it out.

On Saturday morning, they kicked everything off with a parade down Main Street in Longmont. It was incredibly hot, but it was also a lot of fun. We randomly ran into a friend and were able to hang out with her and her kiddos which was a fun little treat.

Cameron loved seeing the animals and fun floats in the parade, and she especially loved the candy. (She is definitely my kid!)

Then on Wednesday morning, Cameron and I went with our neighbors to see all the animals at the fair grounds. It was a lot of fun. Cameron and Ian had a blast seeing all the animals. I thought it was really cool too (minus the smell in the bird room...when I walked in there I honestly thought I was going to throw up it was so disgusting!) 

We took John Deere picture especially for Papa! (He used to work for John Deere back in the day.)
