Broncos Game

Ryan got some AWESOME tickets for a preseason Broncos game a couple nights ago. I'm talking 50 yard line about 7 rows up. We were not going to pass those up. BUT Kelton is still somewhat connected to mama at this point, so we decided to bring him along with us to the game. Walking into the stadium I got a little nervous that it was going to be too loud and he was going to freakout, but he didn't at all! He did great the whole time. He even fell asleep at one point! Everyone around us was very impressed by our sweet little Broncos fan.

Madison!

Ryan's cousin Madison (one of the flower girls in our wedding) flew out to spend a week with us at the end of July. Oh my goodness did we have a good time! The girls were in heaven playing with Madison all week. They would wait by her door in the morning just waiting for her to invite them in to go jump into bed with her! And I loved all the extra help. It was seriously SO much fun to have her visit. The girls can not wait for her to come back again.

We did some fun things during the week including going to the aquarium and going to get pedicures. Cameron went with us to get a pedicure. I was really surprised because she I asked her if she wanted to come with us to get our nails done she said no. I couldn't figure out why. I finally made her come with us because I knew she would have a blast. Then when we got to the place, she say, "Oh this is what you meant, I thought you were talking about nails like in daddy's tool box!" HAHA That seriously cracks me up!

And just for fun, here's little Madison (and her sister Brooke) 8 years ago. I can't believe how grown up these girls are now!

Thank you Madison for coming out for the week! We had so much fun and we miss having you here. And thank you Aunt Lora and Uncle Gary for getting her here and loaning her to us for the week. We love you guys!

Kelton Two Months Old!

It's August, AUGUST! I waited so long for the summer to come and now it's two thirds over. With August here, that means Mr. Kelton is two months old. He is getting so much bigger and stronger already it's crazy. Plus, he's starting to get a lot more expressive and responsive which is so much fun! Little baby smiles are the best.

So Kelton, what are you up to at two months old?

• You started smiling and you smile at us like crazy.
• You are still a great sleeper, and you've been extending your night time stretch a bit and sleep about 7 hours.
• You're still a good eater, nursing 6-7 times a day. 
• You have given up on the pacifier. I don't know what the deal is but you're definitely not into it. 
• You are still sleeping in the rock n' play in mom and dad's room.
• You are a huge cuddlier. If we could hold you all day everyday you would be in heaven.
• You are a happy little guy. The only time we really hear you cry or fuss is when you want to be held.
• We love you like crazy little man! So lucky to have you as part of our family.
