Anyway, the event was a HUGE success! Everyone had a lot of fun, found it really valuable and said they would come again next year if we were to make it an annual thing. Yay!
The best part of the whole thing was we had the conference at the Four Seasons in Dallas, so I was able to see Nick, Annie and the kiddos while I was there. They actually came and stayed at the hotel the Saturday night before I really had to go to work. And while I was playing with Nick, Annie and the kiddos in Texas, Ryan was with the girls at a friends house in Colorado.
And this is what life is like with kids... just saying! HA
Then the work began. Rather than tell you all about the conference, I'm just going to summarize with a few photos.
Day 1
Yes, you are correct, the conference DID include a Lego building contest.
Night 1
Glow in the Dark Putt-Putt! So fun!
Day 2
Night 2
Tuesday night we got to tour Cowboy's Stadium. SO COOL!!! I got to run on the field, play cheerleader in the Cowboy's Cheerleader locker room, chat with Tony Romo for awhile (Ok, just kidding, Tony wasn't there! But I did see his locker. Guess how much those lockers cost...like 10K. WHAT IN THE WORLD!) It really was uber fun.
All I have to say is I'm glad that this thing is only once a year!
