Easter 2014

Holidays are starting to get really fun now that the girls are getting a little older and realize what all is involved, and I love it! For as long as I can remember I have eagerly anticipated becoming a mommy and orchestrating all the fun that makes holidays magical as a kid. Easter was full of fun memories this year.

We dyed Easter eggs...

The Easter Bunny visited our house and left a jelly bean trail to Cameron and Sydney's Easter baskets...

We went to church…

Went to the park and played (and mom took some more pictures)…

We went to Superpop and Granne's house (and took MORE pictures!)...

Of course, the Easter Bunny also visited Superpop and Granne's house...

And then we had our own personal Easter Egg Hunt…

By the time we headed home, the girls were completely tuckered out…

The best thing about our Easter celebrations this year was we had a lot of great opportunities to talk to the girls about the real reason we celebrate Easter… the sacrifice that Jesus made when he died on the cross to save us from our sins so we can go to heaven and live with him some day. I was so impressed when Cameron started talking about why we celebrate Easter, it was precious. And SO, SO important that they learn that while the Bunny and Eggs are fun, the most important thing in our life revolves around Christ and his sacrifice.
