Maternity Clothes Here I Come - 15 Weeks

I boxed up a lot of my clothes and put them in the garage this week because they are definitely not fitting very well anymore. I'm in this phase where I'm not really showing yet, but I've put on enough weight that's it's making a difference. I guess I'm ready for the "I'm not fat, I'm pregnant" t-shirt.

I went shopping with my mom last weekend to get some new clothes that actually fit. It was wonderful because my wardrobe was getting down to basically nothing. I got some great in between stuff that isn't actually maternity, but is very forgiving. I also got some maternity stuff too. Some of the maternity clothes I got are so huge right now, I can't even imagine actually fitting into them. But I have been assured that I will in fact fit into them eventually. It's just crazy to think about that!

2nd Appointment - 14 Weeks

We had our second doctors appointment this week. Since the ultrasound room was open, the doctor took us in to do another ultrasound. It is so amazing how quickly a little baby develops. He/she is already way bigger than when we had our last appointment. Everything seems to be progress well, so that's great to hear. Below is my first profile shot...beautiful, I know. :-)

Grandpa & Grandma's 60th - 13 Weeks

Monday was Grandma and Grandpa Summers' 60th wedding anniversary. Isn't that incredible? We were so honored to be with them to share this milestone in their marriage. I thought it was very fitting that Baby Volk was the size of a shrimp this week because shrimp is one of Grandma's all time favorite foods!

New Jersey - 12 Weeks

We flew to New Jersey this week and luckily I survived the flight with no problems this time! We told Grandma and Grandpa Summers that they were going to have a great grandchild. It was kind of fun, we gave them a card that said "You're GREAT grandparents... no really, GREAT!" It look them a little while to pick up on what we were really trying to say!

Another good thing, the morning sickness has started to taper now (notice the Dunkin' Donuts box). Yeah!

Cousin of the Year - 11 Weeks

This week we told Ross that we was going to be an uncle...again, and we told Nick and Annie that Cole was going to have a cousin! It was kind of fun, we sent them a little shirt for Cole that said "Cousin of the Year 2010!"
